Trinity Church. This Church World Service sponsored walk-a-thon begins at Trinity Church on Sumner Avenue in Springfield. Part of the proceeds benefit Open Pantry.

Mayflower Marathon - Mon. Nov. 19 - Wed. Nov. 21, 2007
Rock 102 morning show hosts Bax & O'Brien will hold their annual 52-hour food drive at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Thanksgiving Holiday Meal - Thursday, November 22, 2007
Open Pantry will host a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at noon. The meal will be held at Commerce High School at 415 State Street in Springfield. See our Holiday Meals page for more information.

Christmas Holiday Meal - Monday, December 25, 2007 at noon
Open Pantry will host a traditional Christmas Dinner at noon at the High School of Commerce located at 415 State Street in Springfield. See our Holiday Meals page for more information.

Souper Bowl of Caring - February 3rd, 2008
Youth groups from faith communities across the nation raise funds for their local food pantries and soup kitchens by standing outside after services with soup pots and asking parishioners to make a donation. In 2006, over 15 area youth groups participated on behalf of Open Pantry and raised over $5,300. See our Events page for more information.

Easter Holiday Meal - Sunday, March 23, 2008

PantryWalk - Sunday, May 4, 2008
Open Pantry's annual walk-a-thon raises funds to help us provide food, shelter and counseling to our neighbors in need.

Postal Food Drive - Saturday, May 2008
Local letter carriers collect food on their routes and make a special delivery to Open Pantry's Emergency Food Pantry and other local agencies. You can help by leaving non-perishable food items outside your door, at mailboxes or the post office.
