Help Available with Food Stamps

In an effort to help our guests stretch their limited resources a little further, the staff at our Emergency Food Pantry have begun to identify people who qualify for food stamps and assist them with applying for this mainstream resource. Staff can now help people complete the application and work through the process.

The staff have received training on food stamps and the application process from Jim Skroka from the Valley Opportunity Council and from Sara Ovenden of Project Bread.  For more information please contact Candace Larger at 737-5353 or efp@openpantry.org.
